Research and Breakthrough Innovation
Research and Breakthrough Innovation works outside of the constraints of a development schedule to focus on what's next - either in terms of business ideas or innovative products. This business unit uses new knowledge to explore areas of potential and possibility - to extend and redefine a product or service.
Product and Technology Development
This organizational unit is responsible for the development of the mySAP Business Suite, built on the SAP NetWeaver platform. Focus areas for product development cover solutions for Services, Manufacturing, Financials and Public services and SAP's technology platform - SAP NetWeaver.
Production
This unit has overall responsibility for the production process for all SAP solutions, including final release after assembly. It aims at providing faster availability of products to the customer without compromising quality. It is also in charge of the definition and broad-scale implementation of production processes and standards, as well as solution validation and software logistics services.
Global Services & Support
Global Services & support aims at building and maintaining a strong relationship with our global customers by developing and delivering a rich portfolio of services, including Installed Base Maintenance Services, Custom Development and Globalization Services.
Customer Solutions and Operations
Customer Solutions and Operations is the field organization of SAP, which includes SAP Consulting, SAP Education, Sales and Sales Support. The field organization has its presence in more than 120 countries across the world.
